i started crying.
not do to an insurmountable sadness inside of me, no, but due to the ending of the space shuttle program.
the universe just got bigger.
the lack of humans on the moon, the lack of plans for the expansion of man, it scares me. it saddens me.
perhaps, in my lifetime, i shall see the return of greater expansion of exploration. but as of now, it appears, that we humans would prefer to run amuck with guns, and bombs.

gah. i realize that it's being caused by a mental illness, but can't she understand that self-harm is BAD?
i tell her to stop scratching herself. she mentions a pen. i tell her stop. she mentions wanting to move onto broken glass and razors. i can't be near her as often as i want due to her being 15. but goddamn it, girl, TRY.
i just told her i've had enough for the day. i hope i didn't make things worse, but she's got to understand that there's consequences beyond her arm hurting. that the people she loves, loves with all her heart, get hurt by it. i dunno.
i need to sleep.

it is well paying.
i still have no girlfriend, or any prospects of one, unless i wish to take someones. i'm not that kinda guy, so i won't. although i did drop an open-ended offer in her lap, so...maybe.
